Thank you so much for considering a trip to Kurokawa Onsen during Golden Week. The hot spring area is expanded to be extremely crowded during this period. As a result, we will implement some traffic regulations and entry restrictions. Please check this information in advance.

(2) Day-Trip Open-Air Bath Usage Information
For fay-trip open-air baths, we may impose capacity and time restrictions depending on crowding conditions. During the Golden Week period, we ask that you limit your bathing time to within one hour per location due to expected crowds. We apologize for inconvenience and appreciate your cooperation.
(BLUE) Relatively less crowded hours
(RED) Extremely crowded hours
As a guide for bath tour timing, the relatively less crowded hours are typically 12:00-13:00 and 18:00-19:30, while the extremely crowded hours are 14:30-18:00 and 19:00-20:00.

(3) Parking Information
Kurokawa Onsen street are narrow with limited parking spaces.
During Golden Week, the hot spring area becomes extremely congested (you may have to wait in your car for long time).
Day visitors using the open-air baths or exploring the hot spring town are requested to use the “New Parking Area” along Route 442.

For Motorcycle and Bicycle Visitors During Golden Week, “Parking Area 3” will be dedicated exclusively to motorcycles and bicycle.
If you are arriving by motorcycle or bicycle, please use Parking Area 3
(About the New Parking area)
● There is no shuttle service from the New Parking Area to the Ryokan Association(it’s about a 10-minute walk to the hot spring area).
● This is a large parking area that can accommodate 150 vehicles.
● restrooms are available within the parking area.
